Well i have decided to start my first nissan build. I found a good platform/candidate worth putting money into so im ready to take the plunge on this mild build. before ordering parts i just wanted to consult the experts on what my engine mod list should look like to create a safe 300-350whp.

current drive train mods:

FMICGreddy type-s (atmospheric)z32 Fuel Filter3" turbo back JIC exhaust (no cat or resonator)Replaced the vacuum line coming off my boost solenoid to eliminate the restricter but im still at 7-8psi =(ARC oil panApexi "suction kit"z32 MAF (not installed yet)Carbon Triple Disk ClutchNismo 2-way

will the stock turbo make 300whp? should i get an HKS actuator or boost controller? SAFC NEO, E-manage, JWT tune, Enthalpy Tune, power fc? Greddy/isis intake mani?

as you can see i have a lot of questions so feel free to pour any and all insight you have all over this thread

thanks nico!

My setup is as follows

Nismo 740cc injectorsapexi hot side intake HKS BOVcustom intercooler piping with Greddy FMICGarrett GT2871Rz32 MAfz32 Brakes (most important)Apexi Power FC (important no eprom tune) you want to be able to make changes yourselfApexi headstuds and headgasket milled to factory specsGreddy Easycams with 10.5 duration helps mid endcustom made 3 inch exhuast with magnaflow muffler quiter than most 300 plus horse srs

had deuschwerks injectors bu they suck balls so switched to Nismo no problems

at 78 degrees F and 55% humidity

I made 338 whp and 311 ft lbs of tq on a dynojet..... so it is possible and I get 25+mpg on a daily drivable car.....

the factory gt25 or 28 would probably do around mid 200s to high 200s but I would not try and push it past 300

The S14 S15 t28 turbo's are good for about 300whp but that's about the limit of the turbo...

thanks guys, im wanting to make my dollar go a long ways (i still have body work/paintjob to pay for) so im thinking an s15 turbo may be the way to go... what are peoples opinions on engine management? im leaning towards the greddy emanage, but if a used power fc came along i should pic that up.. right? i just saw one sell for 600 shipped... should have jumped on it

thanks again guys

~340 hp and my injectors never go over 68 percent duty cycle. If you want to make serious power in the 400-500 whp range (which you will) then you will need bigger injectors than the 555ccs. I bought my power fc brand new on ebay from New Zealand under favorable exchange rates so there are some deals out there.
