Popularity and demand are high. The trend is up, meaning the price goes up, just like with any market, ever.
When in the history of supply & demand did a popular good or service ever become less expensive when it's popularity was soaring? Never. Businessmen selling engines are in the business to make a profit, usually from the trend(kids with credit cards) that sparks interest in a specific engine. If you think a popular engine will get cheaper as it gains increasing exposure as the latest and greatest turbo four cylinder engine,(check your latest import car magazine for proof of media overload) you're dead wrong.
What are serts? Certification? You're a tech? Most techs I know are decent men that don't go spouting off about how well they can build an engine. Instead, they put their money where their mouth is.
You've got "NISSAN serts" but you don't know where to get an engine? Smells a bit like BS to me.
