Time to get rid of the 15inch BBS wheels on my Q and buy some 97-02 Q wheels. Where is a good place to start looking aside from my rapist of a dealer and e-bay? I only want OEM.

Don't dismiss the dealers too quickly. Dealers often have new car take-offs that some buyer tossed for aftermarket wheels (with the dealer markup no less). Generally, Infinity dealers don't pay attention to our end of the market and don't know how bad we want these wheels. In August, I saw a set of Champaign finished wheels off of a 03 Q at a dealer in Tampa. He couldn't sell them for $600 so he was sending them out to be chromed (!). In many cases they wholesale them off just to get rid of them.

Start calling the dealer parts guys and ask for "new car take-offs".

There are several sets of G35 OEM wheels on ebay right now, some for as low as $550/4. There's a sweet set of G35 sport wheels w/ tires that I'd like to have.

Was it $200 for all four or per wheel? If all four, that is a one heck of a good deal! I will have to do some looking!

Are the G35 wheels usable on a 95 Q? I mean, are the offsets, etc., all compatible? Hmmm .... might be worth a look ... :)

I know about your deal Hitman and I missed out on a similar one. Oh well, "You got ta keep on trying, got ta keep on pushiin!!"

I called the guys at Scottsdale about 'new car take offs" and he advised me to call a junk yard. 'Preciate it!

I don't know if the G35 wheel would be menacing enough for my Q.

Dees, you don't need wheels to make your Q menacing. Just let people see who's driving. :D

I wonder if you're the one I outbid at the last minute on those?

There's a set on there now but the bidding starts at $500... Puh-leaze!

$202.50 + $70 shipping for all four to be exact. HOWEVER, one wheel had some undisclosed damage that took me a month of hassles to get reconciled. I got the seller booted from eBay over it, since she was such an a$$ about it.

I really like the chrome on the 20-slot rims - Kind of BMW/Benz-ish if you ask me.

I really want some of the 02/03 Q/M45 wheels. I've never bid on any Hitman so you didn't stick it to me (lucky for you Misipi).

I wonder if anyone has the 02 Q wheels on there 1st gen Q? I posted that question months ago and it hadn't been tried around NICO yet.

Oh yeah,Damn The Man Hitman...Damn him!!!

I have the wheels for you!

The wheels are stock G35 17", 6-spoke Infiniti wheels that are absolutelyunmarked in any way - virgin. The tires are the optional Goodyear GS-A,V-rated 215/55-17s. They have only 1300 miles on them, no punctures, scuffs,or bruises. Tire Rack lists them (the tires) at $149 each.

My asking price is $750 for the complete wheel/tire package and we split the UPS shipping costs. Rennfaire.

Not a bad deal - Too bad the tires aren't meatier (and the GS-A's really suck). 215 is WAY too skinny for a Q. My 245's sometimes look too narrow...

I don't think those will be beefy enough for a 4300 pound Q. Of course, you could buy just the rims (or buy the package and sell the tires).

Will I30 and Maxima wheels fit the Q?

I found a local killer deal on 205-55-16 tires, figured its a great excuse to go from stock to 16" wheels too.

thanks!-Jesda

I personally think that the Qs wheels are fine for the personality of the car...... I am thinking about getting mine chromed.......

Go for the new Q wheels. The champagne finish is very classy.

Next time ask for me! I have 5 sets of the 6 spoke G35 Coupe 17" wheels (with tires). I shouldn't blame whoever you talked to, I probably didn't share that with him, they always complain I spend too much time in front of the computer. I guess I've just grown acustom to internet communication instead of the old fashion face to face stuff!:D

I wish I had some new Q wheels! Those are in too much demand in a chrome finish (we send out the cores to get chromed). All I really have are the G35 17" coupe wheels. All the other take offs I have are less than 4 in quantity.

Joe - What's your "good buddy from NICO" price on the G35 17's?

Any chance we'll see some chrome takeoffs?

Sorry, no chromes. We gave the N/C Dept. credit on the cores (not much though). We have been selling them on e-bay for $650.00 plus freight. You guys I'll sell for $500.00 freight included (ground). I don't have any pics of the 17" GCP wheels on a Q, keep in mind they are staggered tire sizes: 225-50VR17 in the front & 235-50VR17 in the rear (Goodyear RS-A).-Joe

Joe, aren't these the 30mm (front) and 33mm (rear) offset wheels if the tires are staggered? Likely to have difficulty on a Q45, I would think. The sedan wheels at 40 and 45mm should do better ...

Would those fit a '93 J30? Would the overall diameter be the same or would it throw my speedo off?

I have been looking for replacement wheels for my J in 17 or 18" sizes but like the idea of keeping the Infiniti logo...

Thanks,Gadget

I just got off the phone with my tire & wheel guy (otherwise known as Cade). He informed my that the front is 17" X 7.5" w/ 33 mm offset while the rear is a 17" X 8.5" w/ 30 mm offset. So it would look a little weird.

If you can get hold of the 17 x 7 (at 40 or 45mm offset) like was done for the 2002 G35 sedan or the 17 x 7.5 (same offset, I think) for the 2003, that would probably have the best fit for a Q.

What was the offset of the original J30 rims?
