I've sprung a leak......

......in my cooling system. I have to top off the fluid in the system every 3 days or so to ensure I don't get to low and overheat something to the point of damaging it. Right now it's not to bad and I just bought and fixed up another car so I can finally rest the Q and get it completely fixed up where I want it with the Impal kit and paint the beast finally. I have to put about 12oz of fluid every 3 days. It doesn't need more if I drive further, but I'm not taking any chances.

I should have my other car (98 Plymouth Breeze) finished by Monday. We replaced the engine(got a wild hair and clear coated the whole engine!) and transmission with the main gauge cluster so it shows the real milage! 78,000. It's been inspected and titled, but the cruise needs to be hooked up, windsheild washer has to squirt unto the window and the heater fan has to be adjusted.

ONce that's done it's good night to the Q until I'm done. Maybe by the end of Feb you all can see the final version of redman's Q. I'll have to show it off the the Carolina boys first though! Sorry, but we gots to stick together down and over here. I only hope I can finish by then. We'll have two new people in JAN at work so no more 10 hr days that suck up so much of my time. Plus, I have to eventually stop spending so much money on this car!!

Red, that's great. The Q will like the rest. I bet you have to get a "Q fix" on the weekends, though.

I can't wait for the Impul kit. I bet it will look great!

Definitely keep a close eye on the cooling system. The winter is just as harsh on the system as summer, if not harsher.

Red,Just curious, where did you get the Impul kit? I think it makes the Qs look gorgeous and accentuates the lines. You so rarely see them in the states.Good luck w/ the coolant fix!Paul
