i've been reading the past hour about our clutch and flywheel options. i really do appreciate the search button! Float_6969's upgrade thread led me to the Zoom clutches, and it was his CA20 flywheel thread that r34_gtr posted links to the cusco and jun flywheel hookups in AU, as well as the cusco heavy duty clutch that is available. i also found recommendations for the spec clutches from Enjuku, although they have a higher release than stock.

but my question is has anyone bought the TODA clutch and flywheel kit? any TODA search brings me mostly the stroker kit threads. from what i can gather online it's a 4.5kg flywheel and non-asbestos clutch, but it doesn't show any clamp load rating for the pressure plate. is anyone using their clutch with an upgraded turbo? the price right now is $747 plus $205 shipping from Japan.

or should i just go with the Jun flywheel from perfectrun and the spec stage 3 clutch from enjuku?

the toda clutch and flywheel combo is awesome, but a bit pricey. im sure it would never quit on you. at the same time the cusco stuff from perfectrun is probably less expensive and just as good. it really just comes down to money and personal perference. i am wary about spec clutches but if you think it will work for you, go for it.

after reading up more on the cusco copper clutch and reinforced pressure plate, i'm hoping to get that. 400hp handling capability, and the copper clutch is supposed to hold over engine 12,500 rpms. combined with the cusco flywheel, i think it will be a gret setup.

i wasn't sure about Spec myself, and i didn't want to put a KA clutch on there. it doesn't make sense when there's CA stuff still out there.

Wow that site's pretty nifty! I think I'm going to get my clutch and flywheel from them. Have you, or anyone for that matter, purchased from them before?

yeah, that's the TODA kit i was going to get. if you add up the cusco combo from perfect run, it's a little bit cheaper though. I've ordered my HKS turbo from JPS, and shipping turn around from Japan was 3 weeks i think. very good, considering it probably sat at Canda Customs for a week, so i can't say anything bad about them.

I ordered from Perfectrun this time because i wanted the nismo slave cylinder and clutch fork pivot. the nismo slave cylinder is much larger, making heavier clutches less stiff.
