Got an account because it's useful to keep up with friends in the army. Other than that... f$%@&* that crap. I've got no use for most of it. I've got family members who are addicted to the stupid games and it's gotten to the point where if I even think they're about to tell me about the latest dumb crap they found on their farm, I walk out on them mid sentence.

It is fun to absolutely ruin other people's days by starting pissing matches about religion and politics on their "walls" though.

i kick my older sister off my laptop at least 5 times a day because she's addicted to the stupid games. she mostly uses facebook for the stupid games, which is probably just as bad as getting into drama on facebook.

That plus developers like Zynga (makers of Fishville, Farmville and Mafia Wars) are awesome at selling and using your personal information and those of your friends for monetarily gain. Not only that, they scam off the top. The relief Haiti products they made for their apps, about half of the proceeds went to Haiti while the other half was kept by Zynga.

Please do not support these practices by playing Facebook games.

That's cool :squint:

Not only is Zynga dirty, but Facebook allows the dirtiness to happen because it's good for revenue. :tisk:

I think you yougun's just have a higher tolerance for drama. Grumpy geezers-in-disguise like Tito and I have exactly not any tolerance for drama. In fact, I've been known to interrupt gossiping females with shouts of "I HATE DRAMA." Drama is Evil. Note the capitalization. Drama is like a bacterium and social networking is like a giant petri dish. You don't even need a microscope to see the nasty crap growing there. Laboratory-ideal drama spawning conditions.

Anyway, drama aside, you're all going to get syphilis.

You know...I actually have a thoroughly modern USB keyboard at home that for some unfathomable reason still uses the old Tetris-L shaped huge enter key and small backspace button. Just weird. It's in the pile of keyboards I don't like in my closet. I don't remember where I got it, but I sure hope I didn't pay for it.

Image
(Not the keyboard in question, just the same layout. Mine has a curvy rounded frame like you see on most $20 budget keyboards at Office Max.)
