I've recently started to fix one up.. I'm having trouble with the motor.. I'm wanting to do a swap later but I bought a cheap one to fix up.. i have a kit, 17's,stage 2 clutch but a sohc... Several problems:1: the fan for the heat will not come on.. (tried changing blower, resister, switches, and still no blowey)2:engine isn't running hot but is spewing water into my over flow..

Before I go any further I just want to have it reliable...

All help is appreiciated

Morgan

looks like you need to check all your wiring for your heating system. i would start with seeing if there is power going to the blower motor, and make sure its ground is also good.

yea check all fuses for the blower motor IIRC there are 2 20amp fuses.

for coolant check radiator cap, it may not be holding pressure causing it to overflow.

If it's pouring fluid back into the resivour then you need to change the thermostat or it will over heat

I've done all of the above.. Changed the thermostat, checked fuses, made sure power is getting there.. Yep.. I'm not a mechanic, but i know some basics.. Once again all is appreciated not trying to belittle or make light of your help, but all those things have been checked..

Refering to the ground, I actually don't have a wiring diagram for the car, everytime I go to buy one they are sold out(no lie), so if you could help me with knowing where the ground is so I can check I would appreciate it,,
