I've wanted an R32 since I was a kid. With that said, I've finally finalized the paperwork today to buy my first R32 GTR. I receive it in a couple weeks, so I have plenty of time to day dream about what I want to do with the car :naughty:

Anyways, it's a '90 TH1 R32 GTR with just over 43,000 miles on the odometer. Basic mods like a catback exhaust, pod filters, FMIC, coilovers, and wheels come with it. I waited for this specific color, and paid more than I wanted to, but it is what it is; I finally got one! I'll post more pictures once I get it, but here's the pics I've been drooling over for the past couple weeks... ha ha.

Congrats! And looks like your patience has been rewarded!

Why the weeks wait? This car is in the States already.

Thanks! And the wait is because I will be in Hawaii with the wife, ha ha. So it is intentional!

Haha that is about as good of a reasoning as any.

Yeah when I first saw this car posted I knew this car would not last long on their lot.

Yeah, I saw it when they first posted it, and have been in contact ever since. Someone originally beat me to the punch, but they weren't able to come up with the financing so I was 2nd in line, ha ha.

Those look like the APEXi filters. I had those on my 33-R when I lived in Japan. They are pretty darned good filters.

There was a comparison between APEXi, Greddy and HKS pod filters. APEXi had the best combination of performance vs filtering.

HKS was best in the performance but poor filtering, Greddy best in filtering but not as good performance as HKS and APEXi. APEXi was right in the middle

I'll definitely check when it gets here. They said they were blitz, but they could have been wrong. I had the apexi kit when my SR was stock-ish. Had to upgrade when I went top mount, ha ha.

Nice find! That's a really clean looking car and only the second TH1 R32 I've heard of in the states.

Seeing that color brings back that little part of me that wishes my R32 weren't the oh-so-common Gun Metal Gray but it's a Nismo at least that came only in that color lol. That purple is such a nice shade though.

Thanks! I had the chance to buy a gun-metal locally for cheaper, but I didn't want the "generic" color unless it was a real Nismo, ha ha. Awesome you have a real Nismo though, they are awesome. I may do a few Nismo cosmetic upgrades, but haven't decided yet. I'll do little things as I go with this car for now, I still need to finish the S14!

Looking forward to seeing your car around town. There's a bunch of us here if you're in Phoenix.

Thanks! I am in the PHX area. Are there any local groups for the R32?

No official groups but I know most of the guys in town with them. Follow my Instagram or shoot me a PM & we can chat there. I won't be going to any meets for the next month or 2 cuz of the heat but we'll definitely get a bunch of us together!

I was in that area today so I stop by to see if their service area is operational yet. I saw your car parked there with 3 other GTRs, and that TH1 sure stands out.
