3 weeks ago i made the decision to buy a little black s13, i thought "okay i'll fix it up, and sell it for a profit" but what i didnt realize was these cars grow on you. someone came over last night looking at the car seriously interested in buying it, but as i talked the car up (truthfully) i began to realize that this was everything i had set out to chase after, its got super hicas, it does 0-100 in under 16 seconds, it turns heads, its loud, it gets noticed... so i decided to keep it. anyone have a similiar experience?

they really do build crap, on my cavalier the battery got f***ed first week no unusal acivity, on the sunfire put $300 into the motor and it still didnt run as good as it should have, also i had to charge the battery every day and it was a new battery, and the impala every day i drove it with the window down it would get jammed in the weatherstrip and not move, the other day the block heater gasket split on me, american cars are terrible, i have 2 friend who both drive shaturns they both burn oil, leak oil, leak coolant, and lose power daily, this 240sx is the first decent car ive been in

window motors easy, if its the same configuration as the s13, its a clip in the bottom you remove, then theres a screw under it (finding a replacement for that little SOB is hard) then it just comes out and theres a connector for it, you can probably pick one up at the scrappers for nothing.

great car though

its still early morning to me (11:30) i thought you moved on to engine swaps. but the window motor can be done in minuts and dealers usually charge 65$-90$/hour CDNit would probably just be a waste of money.

i understand personal preference just fine, but just cuz you don't like em doesnt mean there aren't quality domestic cars. saying all american cars are crap because they aren't your cup of tea is.................................retarded
