I am picking up a blue Versa SL tomorrow. It has the CVT and ABS. Test drove all three versions of transmissions. As much as I liked the 5 speed manual, the CVT was way cool.

The upgraded upholstery, wheels, stereo and extras on the SL version were worth the extra money. Very nice.

I'll post pics in a few days.

Cool. Congrats. You're going to be very surprised when you see that you get one extra gear to make it a 6 speed.

Picked it up tonight and it's in the garage. Very nice. Rides great. I'll report on some mileage after a few tankfuls. Usually, engines need a few thousand miles before they start to see better mileage.

The CVT works well. I'm so impressed with the construction and quality materials for a smaller car. The view from the inside is fabulous. Gobs of headroom, easy to see, much better than most of the smaller sedans I test drove.

Congrats!!!!

I love my SL CVT. Overall I am very pleased and only upset with my poor fuel economy. I am still waiting for it to improve. I have just over 4700 miles and am averaging 28.7mpg to date.

The interior room is splended and I love the CVT. I'm no race car, but I like the smooth drive.

Thanks, Paul.

I see a lot of comments about fuel economy here and some of the disappoinment with the numbers. Here's my take.

The way the EPA gets their data on fuel economy is being changed next year for good reason: no one drives that way in real life. So the EPA numbers on the sticker is wishful thing. But that goes for all cars. The Honda Fit owners are experiencing the same thing. Most Pious, er, Prius owners are definitely not getting the EPA stated 60 mpg and that's been brought up in quite a few magazine and newspaper articles.

I also ride a motorcycle and can say that it takes a while before the engine starts showing better fuel economy. My bike gets very good fuel mileage now than a year and a half ago. 45-50 consistenly.

I've used Mobil 1 synthetic oil in practically everything I drive or ride and once I start changing my oil here soon, I believe numbers will jump and get even better as the engine gets 5000-10,000 miles on it.

Best regard to everyone. Seems like a nice bunch here.
