Thanks, Paul.
I see a lot of comments about fuel economy here and some of the disappoinment with the numbers. Here's my take.
The way the EPA gets their data on fuel economy is being changed next year for good reason: no one drives that way in real life. So the EPA numbers on the sticker is wishful thing. But that goes for all cars. The Honda Fit owners are experiencing the same thing. Most Pious, er, Prius owners are definitely not getting the EPA stated 60 mpg and that's been brought up in quite a few magazine and newspaper articles.
I also ride a motorcycle and can say that it takes a while before the engine starts showing better fuel economy. My bike gets very good fuel mileage now than a year and a half ago. 45-50 consistenly.
I've used Mobil 1 synthetic oil in practically everything I drive or ride and once I start changing my oil here soon, I believe numbers will jump and get even better as the engine gets 5000-10,000 miles on it.
Best regard to everyone. Seems like a nice bunch here.
