91 NA AT, not running but in great shape cosmetically, interior needs a little attention but for $600, I can't complain. Now I have to figure out what front end to put on, current one has the chin missing.

You can not go wrong with a jspec front bumper.

I'm not a fan of the jspec. It doesn't fit the car IMO, I like the original early 90's look. I'm thinking a factory TT front with a Stillen GTZ lip, GTZ Sideskirts and TwinZ add on diffuser. I would love to afford the strosek widebody but the work to get that stuff installed is astronomical.

Wow, $600? Damn, really blows that "$800 for my many-parts-missing NA" idea of mine away as it's NOWHERE near that clean.
Congrats on the purchase, can't wait to see where this goes!

The PO has had a difficult history with this car (mostly because he's a bit too shade-tree), I first looked at this car about 9 months ago when the asking price was $2k. He contacted me about it recently, said he needed money and threw me the $600 price, I couldn't resist.

I will mention that he contacted me about a clutch pedal assembly and I believe a shifter for NA or perhaps it was brake pedal as well, but which I could not help him with currently so if you also have those do contact him!

I am in need of the clutch and NA brake pedal assemblies, I"m swapping to manual so don't need any auto parts. In fact I'm giving auto stuff away lol. Thanks for the offer though.

Man, just can't get over how clean that thing looks in the pics...is it really that straight and the paint really that tidy? Gimme a shot of the TTop joints at the roof, where the plastic edge is ALWAYS broken...yours seem intact? Wow!
So, any movement yet? :poke: :chuckle:

It really is, the only thing really wrong with the body is the missing chin on the front bumper and a dent on the passenger side front lower quarter under the back of the door but that can be pulled out pretty easily and get covered by a side-skirt. Otherwise yeah she's very clean, the interior needs a little work because the PO painted some of the plastic bright blue but I have leftovers from the previous cars that I can replace all that with. The rubber ends on the TTops are rotten but the hard plastic pieces are solid and shiny.

Yeah I didn't want Aztec at first but this thing is in such nice shape I couldn't pass it up, the plan is to respray it in something a little darker down the road something like BMW Imola Red or BMW Melbourne Red but that's well into the future, for now I just want to get her running and driving.

I wouldn't, fixing mechanical stuff is easy and cheap compared to proper body work and paint.

Agreed, I personally will not accept a car that has more than two VERY small dents which are hard to see as I also feel that the proper body and paint work is more valuable than the tip-top mechanics in an old car, at least. Newer cars I want both, period. You KNOW the old car needs mechanical TLC due to age and previous unknown use, and so I don't also want to have that same issue with the body if at all possible.
I like your color idea Anton, and the reason above is why I really, really like the car you got- a GREAT platform to do what you want with!
