i retract my previous post.

its the twin orifice power steering solenoid valve.

Correct.

I didn't know my car had HICAS. I guess the alignment will be a little bit tougher to do.

I kinda thought it would take longer.

I guess there are some people on this site, who know Infiniti.

im sorry, i changed my answer. i originally said hicas pump.

was i correct with the hicas pump, or is it the solenoid valve?

Yea Jeff, I think all Q45T came with the Hicas.

It is the HICAS pump. Although, the solenoid is in the picture.

I had no idea, the 't' models had HICAS.

94 was the last year for HICAS.

So Greg, what is the diferance between the 95 Q45 & the Q45t? The rims, spoiler and small rear sway bar?

Heated seats, supposedly different springs/shocks (which i doubt), and the CD changer.

Sorry, Wes. I guess I didn't see your posting.

You ought to buy that Q, from TCO2, then you can rob the engine, and part it out, for the cost of rebuilding it.

It can't be worth more than about $1k to the insurance company.

1994 seems like a great year for the Q. New guides, better transmission cooling, still has most of the original power, TCS + active suspension, HICAS... hmm!

Swap in a 90-93 transmission and you have ALL the performance of the 9093 and the luxury of the 94s.....

Cant lose!!!!!! Except it is a compromise and not exactly what the engineers wanted, also dont like fake wood!!!!!
