I thought this would be the best exhaust choice for my RB.

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

What do you guys think?

No muffler, no resonater, just full 3" mandrel piping.

Suprisingly, it's pretty quiet with the KA.. untill you get over 4k rpm, which I usually don't.

Sounds real burly.

The RB26 should sound good though, especially with the turbines deafening the exhaust pulsation a bit.

I still gotta take it off and ceramic coat it. I had it on for emissions, which passed!

You should have just punched a hole through a fendor and saved yourself some piping

I agree, make a side exit exhaust. That would be so hot!

If you'd like to hear what a side exit exhaust sounds like on an rb, go to http://www.exvitermini.com and check the video section under "GTR-700"

I did have a side exit before I had this. However it was home made with flex pipe.. ended up buckling it on a speed bump haha.

Like I said, if I'm driving it under 4k rpm it isn't loud at all. Sounds like a burly V8.. I was really suprised the first time I drove it.

It's loud when it's cold though.. but after warmup the raspiness goes away.
