You're thinking the S14 rear strut bar will work on a 'vert?

Well..., if you see rear strut bar installed on the hatch, you would know what he's talking about. Yeah, they can have nice triangle strut bat, but vert can't. Vert top well is on the way, so you can't install from one strut to another straight.

madcowvert,I don't know. Those 2 thin metal pieces at the end don't look strong enough. It looks like some modification will be needed.

when i took the back seat out...the only thing in the way was metal boxes around the rear seat belt...the top wasnt really in the way at all...i was gonna cut that out and just make my own...but my dad needs to bring home some metal for me...

wait...I'm sorta not following. The "well" that 94 is referring to, is their to help in the reinforcement. IE, why cut it out only to replace it with a aftermarket strut bar, not originally made for a vert???

and 94, I agree with you, the thin metal extensions look uber weak...

That said, I had adjusting my teins all the time...its such a hassle..gotta put the top down...gotta use freaking pliers to adjust the dampening (the tips touch the brace, so its sorta hard to click then in place - one click at a time...unless you are super precise).

i agree it there is no way shape or for to make the convertible more rigid then maybe a cage when they made this car the made it stong.

the only reason i posted this is because it would look nice even if it dose very littel or nothing.
