I think my vlsd may be going out

Going up hill in the parking garage from a stop I feel a chatter I didn't feel before from the rear, also getting an odd noise periodically from the rear. Could it be something else?

Car is an 03 with under 40k miles. Never been driven hard, and the car is stock. Makes noise when turning occasionally, also makes noise when floored from ~20mph in 2nd gear going straight.

Ideas?

it's nt the lsd, when the vlsd fails (which is almost never) it simply behaves like na open diff

I suggest you get under your car and look at the moving parts, mostlu the rubber mounting bushings

I'd bet a nickle it's a slipping clutch.
