I'm having two big issues with my car right now. A while back I asked this, but never got any reply as how to fix it.

My alarm keeps going off. How can I flat out disable the alarm? Not just turn it off temporarily, but perminently disable it? Where is it located, maybe I can just pull the power from the module?

A couple months ago, my car didn't start for me. It turned over just fine, but wouldn't start. I had a local shop look at it, and just to make me feel like a dumba$$, they said it needed a tune up. They replaced the cap and rotor as well as the plugs. The wires are fairly new and were one of the better brand, so they didn't replace those. This weekend, same problem. I got got new plugs, and sure enough, the car started. It did not start right away though. I had to mash the gas, but it started. Any ideas why this could be happening?

It's factory. Or at least I thought it was. Looks like it at least.

Why would changing the spark plugs help in that case?

Someone mentioned to me that it could be a timing chain issue. Could that be?

My car did this for a while...turned out to be an intermittant fuel pump. I replaced it and haven't had a problem since. (Well, at least not THIS problem....)
