I think Im MISSING something

OK , i got the transmission placed on the engine(rb20) and there are supposed to be like 6/7 bolts that bolt up. I only have the transmission to engine bolts, and not the engine to transmission ones!!! Is there some kind of plate that goes on the engine that supports the rest of the hole?? This sucks. I wouldn't think that it would be ok woth out this plate, or would it be?

THERE IS A FLYWHEEL PLATE AND ALSO ENGINE/transmission SUPPORT BRACKETS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE ENGINE.

Do you have any pictures? If it is like the RB25, there are 2 brackets that come off the bottom of the motor to support the lower trans and also a dust shield between the engine and trans.

The picture in the last reply are what you are missing. These plates are the same for all RB engine for example RB20E,RB20DET,RB25DE,RB25det andRB26DETT. If you live in the states you are most likely are not going to find a RB engine in the junkyard. Try seeing if the 300zx automatic or manual doesn't matter have the same brackets see if they work. Maybe try having somebody custom make some for you. I would not try driving your car without these brackets. Good Luck!!
