Man guys im only 19 and I think im going bald wtf! My hair on the top of my head is kinda thin lol thinner than normal. You guys ever deal with something like this? How should I remedy this situation?

Just shave my head and grow a wicked *** beard? Im so confused

One way to tell if you're gonna go bald is to look at the males in your family tree. In other words, if daddy and grandpa are both bald, then you're probably gonna be too.

Although 19 does seem kinda young. I couldn't imagine going bald at my age, being 19 as well.

I'm 20 and I know a number of people (including myself) that have started to lose their hair. Isn't balness supposed to be carried by the male side of your mothers family? So if your moms dad is bald, you have a pretty damn good chance of being too. If that's true, I should have my hair till I'm in my 60's, but it appears it's not going to happen

Yeah my friends all say I looke 25 -30 years old hell when i was 16 this lady let me drink beer at a bar. SHe thought i was 25. Fukin hell im freakin out. BUt I cant shave my head now I gotta get a job. I dont know how bald heads look to employers. SO Ill just wait till I get a job then shave my head so clean you can eat off it.

I feel ya man... I'm 17 and have started to notice my hairline recede. It's not very noticeable yet because I have thick shaggy hair to cover it up.. so I'm just trying to make the most of things while I can, and then I'm shaving it.

and it doesn't help that most of my mom's brothers are bald...

I had big ol' hair in school (did the Bon Jovi thing) and all through college (the Billy Ray Cyrus mullet), but as soon as I noticed the forehead growing, I lopped it all off. Now I sport the Bruce Willis buzz.

No big deal - Save all that $$$ on shampoo/gel/conditioner/spray and spend it on beer/car parts/strippers.

I've been going bald since I was 18. You'd be surprised at the number of girls who actually find that sexy instead of all those guys with "boy band" hair.

My hair has been thining since Highschool (a long time ago). I do have to say that I knew I was sunk when I was a kid. My dad is bald and my Grandfather (maternal side) was bald. No worries though. There are plenty of women out there that think that being bald is sexy. I am just gonna let my hair do its thing. I have not lost my hair as fast as my father lost his though.

I went to high school with a set of fraternal twins. One was nearly bald by 10th grade, the other had a head full of hair and still does as far as I know.

IMO, once it starts to thin, the only option is to go short, last thing you wanna have is 4 long hairs flying around in the breeze.

I'm gonna look towards advances in medical science to hook a brotha up, hell, lasik is helping a lot in the vision department (I look forward to getting it done sometime in the future) perhaps they can cure baldness and help with my back and knee pains and what not....

a cure for cancer and aids would be cool too though I guess:D

Wear a hat. Looking at my dad, I want go bald, but I will have one heck of a receding hair line.

Of course that is fine, I keep my head shaved anyway. Dont have to worry about combing my hair that way.

Hair is over rated. I keek mine saved to about 1/2 inch. I never have to comb it or even think about if its messed up. Oh yeah I ll proble be bald in a few years.
