oh this is what i have so far...
pioneer deh 7000bt from old carkicker zx 750.1 to run dcvr122 http://www.sonicelectronix.com....html
kicker zx 350.4 to run alpine 69c's in the rear from the old car... and haven't chosen a component system yet.
I've been reading alot of threads and there was no mention of kicker amps... are they not as good as rocksforts or alpines? to the point where i should just return em? i got em for around 400...
and what would be a good component system to go along with this set up? i was thinking of these three

or diamond hexs600s'... i would like to get something to work nicely with the 4 channel that i have for around 2-300 or even cheaper... is there that much of difference between component system and speakers?
i mainly listen to hiphop and knockin bass is a must... (well not necesarily in the front) if anyone's used the sub that i have how are they compared to l7s?
oh also is 4awg enuff to run whatever i have right now plus comp.? i don't think i'll do other upgrades after these...
Sori if i asked too many questions n thanx in advance...
regarding kicker amps, they aren't the best quality, but they aren't the worst either.... if you have them already, see if you like em... in terms of performance, yes, they are below Rockford's POWER series, alpine makes Ok amps...
to be honest, different companies makes different aspects of car audio better than others...
for amplifiers, i suggest Rockford Power series, JL audio, Sundown Audio... or if you want super efficient and expensive amps,m you can go Zapco or tru techniologies
for woofers, I say Rockford Fosgate Power T1's or T2's, JL audio W3's or W6's (W7's are sloppy) kicker solobariq L6 or L7's, Diamond Audio, memphis audio... or you can go super heavy to the Max with some critical mass UL12's, or ORIONs... IMO, orions sound like crap.... the UL12's are the best sounding subs on earth, but are super expensive...
for components, there's tons of great companies.... Rainbow Audio, Focal K2F, K2P or Utopias, memphis audio, Polk Audio, Diamond audio, Dynaudio, Hertz.... of the bunch, I recommend the Diamond Audio hex s600's because they are inexpensive but sound great!
Regarding your power wire for your amps, I say run 0 gauge, but that's just me...doesn't make sense really to run smaller 4 gauge wiring.. also, if you do run 4 gauge wiriing, make sure its REAL 4 gauge wiring, not 8 gauge wiring in really thick surround.... Stingerand Rockford make really good thick 99.99% oxygen free copper wiring kits
