Well the timing chain broke in the car . How do I determine whether to repair or replace the engine?1992 240sx conv,engine ran great but the car has 200k on it.Anybody have a good running engine for sale?How much to rebuild ? Thanks,Chris.

Do a leak down test to make sure thats its OK: http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/11 ... index.html.

I am not sure if you have a Over Head Cam but if you do chances are you will need a new engine.
