Grant, not going to pollute Nate's thread with any more Furd talk! I'll just say I've been much more fortunate with the Furd's I've owned!BrandAidDesignG35 wrote:SVT Zozo, Anything short of a Gt40, is rubbish.
Think I saw a 2011 5.0 with 400HP that gets 27MPG sell on Barrett Jackson last night....Personally, I like the 4 cammer cobra engines!! However, I did looooove my 351W in my 69 MAch.....sorry Nate, smockers fault..smockers83 wrote:Did you guys here that they're bringing back the 5.0 Mustang? Not the design (thank God) but a 5.0L engine.
I'd be careful of salvaged titles...it will be very difficult to sell. Make sure you can get a loan/insure the thing.Sentientbydesign wrote:Found an 04 Evo yesterday. $13k. 92k on the chassis. 22k on the motor. Single owner took a turn too fast and didn't see a CALTRANS (CA's beloved road work bureau) truck and tried to hug the guard rail. Damage included a bend radiator support, dead bumper, and minor fender damage. Insurance company did a total loss on it. The shop that the owner used for maintenance bought the car from him and is in the process of fixing it. It was going to be a track car, but one off the owners hurt her back and is on Dr.'s orders to stay away from racing. So they're fixing it to sell it.
Comes with Cams, custom exhaust, and custom tune (my tune). Title hasn't registered as salvaged yet, so I'm hoping that we can finance the car.
sweet we got some new icons. Good find Grant.BrandAidDesignG35 wrote: lol, I like the new icon.. So, the mustangs do have more power then the last V6... I thought it was barely over 200hp? And the times were terrible, it's good to see they're trying more competetively...
I don't claim to be a Ford expert either, so thanks for the facts zozo. I know the saleens have always been

Yeah. I don't think it's going to fly. I just called the DMV and they already have record of the car being salvaged. As such, the bank won't give me a loan for the full purchase price.joe603 wrote:Is this the salvaged title one?
I see that is pretty cool. I had a wide band O2 on my Hemi Ram due to the 200 hp nitrous shots. I saw it run as lean as 17 on the gas once that was scary. Normally it was about 14.5.Sentientbydesign wrote:
14.7:1 is stoichiometric, but very few will run stoic on a boosted car because they're worried about detonation. Under low load, there shouldn't be a problem so stoic or a little higher can work to get optimal fuel economy.
