I like it. But I finally got myself another handgun the other day. SIG P228. Light, accurate, combine with Corbons and we have a winner for daily carry purposes. The dealer gets them at LE pricing, so he passes that excellent price onto a buyer. Helluva deal. Pre-ban clips still available too!!1

It took me 10mins to buy it and take it with me. I've waited longer in a drive-thru.

Heh...I somehow knew it was going to be a car or a gun. :D

Looks really nice...I still want to pick up a Sig P226, but then again I've got car parts to buy.

Just out of curiousity, why is that S&W so expensive?

It’s the new Smith and Wesson 500. It is a 50 Caliber but bigger and bader than the 50 Caliber Action Express. The 500 S&W fires the projectile around 1600-1800 fps with a muzzle velocity of 1900-2500ft/lbs in muzzle energy. I think that Cor Bon is the only ammunition manufacturer to make ammo for this beast. I think it eclipses the bigger caliber handguns like the 480 Ruger and my baby the 454 Casull.

The gun looks funny with a 4" barrell. Not sure I want to be around it when the round goes off. Shorter barrells have a tendancy to make loud rounds sound even louder. I would also not want to feed that biotch. The 454 is bad enough, I pay about 17$ for a box of 20.

I love my 9mm. Cheap and easy to shoot. I have no worries about my Glock with Cor Bon JHP.

I think that gun might trump numbers 1 and 3. 2 can only be trumped by a few things in life.

number 2 would not help me in getting 1 and 3.

1 and 3 however, will help me with number 2:D

9mm is a good caliber, I've got a Taurus around here somewhere, nice little gun for the price.

It's not my first choice personally, but a 147 grainer will do the job:) +P loads rock, the Sig should handle them nicely.

My uncle has a nice little 239 in .40, factory night sights. Good shooting little sucker, it's just a bit small in my hands though, doesn't feel too comfortable.

I've had a couple SIG's over the years, and after handling a coworker's P228 at length, I felt it was an excellent if not ideal package. Was also eyeing the HK USP compact, .45

maybe next week

Phil is on a gun kick, once again. be afraid!

you should get a USP Compact in .357 SIG:D

the best way to have a .45 is in the 1911, it just feels right:)

get a Kimber, killer qaulity, killer price.
