I found a Nissan Silvia for 800, looks like no-one wants it it's been there for a while, auto, no turbo. :D I'll do my first engine swap on this car if I get it and stop slunking.....only my last paychek came up 477 instead of 700....:( What's a 17 yr old High School Kid Gatta do to get RESPECT?:(

Is that what you really want? I mean the price is good and all but do you think you can find something better that you'd like more.

Right hand drive? You will have to say bye bye to safe left turns and drive thru windows.

Unless you are using this car for autocross, then I guess it makes no difference.

Thats nice. I like how stupid initial D made all this crap and fast and furious expensive now! I can't even get a front end conversion done under 1g!

At worst I would buy that, and if it breaks down at least you just saved 200 bux on a front end... The left side drive is hot too. I wish more would come like that over my way :(

I would hit that. You might want to consider a CA18DET though, theyre a bit cheaper and as I saw on another board: The SR20DET parts are expensive, you find them in Japan. CA18DET you find in a junkyard. Also the CA18DE parts work the same, so even if in the bahamas they only have the CA18DE (American release) you're still good. If you're shooting for the same HP as a SR20, (30 less) then you could easily use the difference in price to make up for it. Just a suggestion if you're tight on money.

EDIT: Definatley meant right side drive.

Forgive me if im being stupid for asking this but, that is a Silvia right? It already has an SR20DE, why not just convert it to a DET. Thats gotta be a hella lot cheaper than a whole engine swap. I'm not sure of the compression ratio of the DE, but at the worst you have to keep the boost a little lower. I buddy of mine converted his Pulsar (NX2000) to a DET it wasn't that difficult and he's dynoed at 300WHp with no internal work. Of course it makes more sense if your going for the whole manual swap too. Anyway my $.02.

Ps: Yeya, My status just changed. Too bad its not true...yet

See I asked about all of that already when I was planning on buying an SR20DE S14 Silvia from japan. The SR20DE's internals weren't made to hold boost, so I'd have to build it to take boost etc. etc. That I found out from my fellow niconauts :D NICE GUYS:DThey told me it'd be cheaper to buy an SR20DET one time.

I an thinking of CA power, there are like 2-3 CA powered cars over here (2 200sx's -1 180SX or more) but I'd still like me 2 litres yinno? no trouble of boring that extra .2 outta tha CA. and if i ever bore the SR I'll be at 2.2 :D

yeah drive through windows will be a b****. we drive on the left....but like you may have guessed, our proximity to America has LHD's outnumbering RHD's. So hopefully I'll have a passenger wen I need my fast food fix :pface

GENUINE NISSAN SILVIA POWER BABY:ylsuper (I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE!:( )
