I had 1/4 of tank ( I know I filled with ARCO before) and filled 20$ worth of 91 Chaveron Supreme. Today my AMB sensor showed 95F. I don' know if that had anything to do with "stumbling" So, when I started my Old Lady, she was "stumbling" after 2 min of driving. After I filled Chevron, I drove for about 30-40 min and gradually "stumbling" has gone away.Quote » MAGIC - I THINK NOT [/quote] I will do some more "testing" regarding it so STAY TUNNED Cheers!

I found it

Keep us posted on this - For some reason I was thinnking this to be more than just a fuel problem. But if its that simple - makes life just that much easier.

Geez, you don't think those old ARCO UST have any water in them, do you?

Buy Costco, or a national brand from a new station. In the meantime, use a quart or two of ISO-heet.

Great gas. New tanks, rapid turnover, and all additives of big name brands.

Not cut rate dregs like ARCO.

Are you serious about Costco?Unfortunately, Costco is out of mu reach. There is one, maybe two stations and they both out of reach for me. If I go to Coscto sometimes (my wife does all the groseries) I will try it. Meanwhile I'll stick with Chevron Supreme and will try ISOHEET.

You'll be fine with Chevron. Maybe a little poorer now, but a lot richer later when you don't have to "fix" your car's symptoms from burning the ARCO dregs.

At the minimum, I would switch vendors to see if the one you use has bad tanks or fuel.

There's a Chevron dealer near me that's roughly the same price as Arco and Arco charge a fee to use your ATM card which can negate the savings on the gas.

I remember some time last year there was a thread on here about gas ratings, like a grading or something, and Chevron was on top, like first or second.
