I think i Fixed my breaking up!!!

When i got my car the guy i bought it from said it was sitting for a while.So when i got home i drained the tank and cleaned it.and the car ran fine.but the other day i took my fule pump out to see if it was clogged and i was so i cleaned it.but still the car started to break up after about 5 min. of driving.so i dropped my tank and got one from my friend and it has been working fine for now.....

I know a bunch of people were saying there car was breaking up at high rpms to so i would check your tank cuz my was really dirty and i cleaned it good and it still broke up......until i got this new tank!

If it was that dirty, then you need to replace your fuel filter ASAP.

Good work on fixing it. Dirty tanks are a pain to debug. It's hard to believe how much rubbish builds up over 15 years. Makes you wonder what sort of filters the fuel pumps at the gas station use..
