i think i f'ed up my MAFS....

so my idle was off and i pulled the connector piece out to see if it was dirty at all. there was a little rust on the 4 prongs but nothing too bad so i brushed them off and now my car will barely run and it wont rev past 2500. was i wrong in just pulling the connector out or what am i doing wrong to put it back...please help!

figured it out. For anyone who wants to know, i ended up pulling the top cover off the whole thing so i could see the connectors from the top. turns out that the connectors on the comp board were bent slightly upward which prohibited the incoming prongs to make contact. so what i did was plug it all in and then bend the comp board connectors down a little to make contact. and they trick you. there are 4 prongs, but only 3 of them make contact.
