HEy guyswell let me tell you what happen. I jsut had replaced the head and i had left the car running for over an hour without no problem. at my shop it was running perfect i drove it around the parking lot and beautiful. But then i s5tarted to drive it home. and out of a sudden when i would go down to ideal, the oil light in the dash would turn on. so i was lik wtf and i had to keep on goign so i left of the gas and drove in gear. but then after a lil bit i started hearing a klak klak klak preety loud and i would try to accelarte and it would og anywhere and the motor shut off. So i pulled over. and i took the dipstick out and white smoke was comming out. it smelld like burning oil too. took the oil cap off and a lot of smoke came out too. i put oil in the car even though it had i put in it just incase. Then i started the car and the noise was still there but it was idealing with no problem. u reved it up a lil and the noise is louder. I have a feeling the oil pump whent out causing bearings to go bad. but why would the piump go bad out of a sudden.

also im not gonna lie on my way home i got on it a lil and i felt no power at all after 5k. i think thats becausxe of timing even though i placed it on the right timing i didnt have a light so im gonna check that but still.

can you guys give me an opinion. thanks

sounds like you blew a piston ring (or two) a very common problem on KA's

A rod bearing is highly suspect since the oil light came on. Though, I'd do as much testing as possible to narrow down the cause.
