i am installing the walbro 255 fuel pump and it is smaller then the stock one.... after i ordered it i happened to read a feedback that i didnt see before... it said that the guy got the 190 walbro instead of the 255. is the one i have the 255 or 190? can i even use the 190 if im boosting 7psi up to 10 probably max for a while.

Ha, that sucks. Time to read the fine print on the auction. If you were supposed to get the 255, then report him and do what you can to get your money back or the correct pump.

Regardless of whether or not you got hosed is something you will have to take up with the ebay member and ebay....

As for the 190lph and 255lph; i guarantee that the 190lph will most likely suit you much better than the 255lph if you aren't going to be running more than 10psi. You will not overrun the stock FPR (which doesnt matter if you have an aftermarket anyway) as the 255lph will and you really wont be pushing that pump until around 300whp (where I have from experience).

My Walbro 255 is much smaller than my stock fuel pump was. Like the always say, "Size doesn't matter."

Here's my stock fuel pump.

Here's the Walbro. See how there's a half inch gap between the rail that holds the pump and the pump itself. The stock fuel pump was big enough that it sat right next to that rail.

so it is smaller? that is awesome to hear! a buddy of mine that is working on it with me (who works on cars a lot) said he thought it should have been bigger (which kinda would make sense if you havent seen it before). i feel more confident that it is the right one now. is there anyway to check though? i know it has a bunch of crap engraved on the side. do you know what the numbers are for the 255 vs the 190 just so i can be sure?

but seriously thanks a lot for posting those pics so im not pissed all night.

Read the directions...they say somwhere:

"Don't be concerned with the small size"

They all look like that.

They are small...but beastly :) I wouldn't worry too much. I was shocked when I compared them, but its a totally different design internally between stock and walbro.
