I was driving home tonight and as soon as I got on the highway my A/T temp, E-Brake, seat belt, oil and battery lights all came on. I pulled over immediately and shut the Q off an checked the oil, transmission oil and coolant res and everything looked fine. I got off the first off ramp an headed back but on the way back EVERYTHING started lighting up, 4x4 indicator, abs light the 4 wheel lock light but if i turned my lights off some lights would disappear? I parked it and let it sit for a bit and when I went to start it it wouldn't fire just click, I jumped it an she started up but the same lights that came on on the highway stayed on. I owned a 98 Pathy and had the battery die and none of this happened, it just wouldn't start except for a boost. I'm gonna put a new battery in tomorrow because it's the same battery that came with it when I bought it a year and half ago and see if it fixes the problem but does anyone think there could be a more serious issue?

I replaced the battery and the E-brake, A/T oil temp light and battery light all stayed on after. I found another thread that said possibly alternator and it was. No lights on the dash but my wallet is alot lighter.

I just went through the same thing! The battery died (sides swollen) so i replaced it, then one week later the Alternator failed.

My battery was swollen as well. The guy at the battery store asked me if it froze but since you said yours was swollen it was more than likely linked to the alternator. I hope for your sake it wasn't buried in the 3.3 like it is in the 3.5.
