Ok, so I didn't actually steal it, I bought it legally, it just feels like i stole is cause I got such a good deal.

It's a 95 with 93,000 miles on it, 5 spd SE with leather.

Downsides? Poor collision repair: peeling clearcoat and no replacement of the dash pad after the passenger's airbag deployed.

Upside? It runs and drives great, is dropped an inch, and is a buttload of fun to drive (put about 250 miles on it today).

So I'm a newbie to these cars and I'm sure I'll post some pretty dumb questions, but I'll try and search first.

I've already turbo'd a KA-24 in a minitruck and it ran pretty good at 7 psi, so I'm considering doing the same to this car. I just need to research the differences between the KA motors and the twin cam motor in the car. I figure it ought to be easier with a Mass Air fuel system, just a matter of time now:)

I'll get some pics up this week, you all can laugh your butts off at my interior and crummy paint

i stole one too...92 hatch, 150k miles, 5spd, LE (leather seats), and power everything. The only thing is that it was wrecked in the back. I got the car for $1280 and bought a rear bumper, center pieces for $200. So I got it for $1480 altogether and s13s in general sell for about $3000 average in the bay area (craigslist.com).

$3200...

In DFW a 95 that is BEAT will draw $3K... 5K for anything that is not a "project car"

so I think I did ok... especially since I was ready to drop $2200 or so on an S14 in similar condition, but with an extra 70000 on the clock.

Damn.

3200 bucks for an s14 in good shape. That's the kind of thing that makes Nissan junkies in the bay area like me get seven kinds of jealous. Hehe. Good job bro, you got an excellent deal.

That's a helluva a deal, but I would have passed on it, can't bring myself to own another red car of ANY kind after the $1300 fiero that got me through college

I went to high school in CA and college in FL... only been to san antonio long enough to see the alamo and get abused at d!ck's Last Resort on the river walk. (a slightly different flavor of verbal abuse than you get out of d!ck's Last Resort in Dallas)

Did you get the bugs worked out of the car after you bought it? The post you had up looked like it was having problems immediately after you picked it up.

I *almost* scored a '93 S13 for $200 last week...

That thing would have been on ebay for $2000 the next day.

ok, so it wasn't the deal of the century... I was getting so frustrated by trying to buy one of these cars, I was just happy to find one that was owned by a reasonable guy who didn't want a million dollars for it.

I hate to stereotype, but in the dallas area it seems like every 240 for sale is owned by some dumbass little kid who can't make up his mind whether or not mommy is REALLY going to make him sell his car for getting an F in english.

They don't get what I mean when I say, "I'll be there at 5 pm with cash," and get all scared that after that comes the time when their car does a burnout in their neighorhood with me driving it

Oh well, now I've got it, and I like it, it's a kick in the *** to drive.
