I squished a wire between clutch pedal and chassis.. no ecu power no start

I pushed down on my clutch pedal really hard so I could reach into my back seat and then my car dies. didn't stall... just died like i had turned the key off. I was inspecting the car after and noticed that I had mashed a wire between the clutch pedal and chassis.. it was flattened and the wires were exposed. Do you think this may have caused the car to go into a safe mode like an amplifier does when it gets too hot or some wires touch? There is no light on the ecu, everything in the car turns on except for the dual fans (the wire i squished was the power wire for the fans) and the ecu. I have no idea what to do. I checked the fuses in the fuse box inside the car and the one over by the battery, they all look good. Anyone have any ideas? When my brother gets home i'm going to see if he can help me jumpstart my car, I dont know if this will work but I'm going to give it a try. Thanks ya'll.
