I sold my Q45

Alright get this guys. Yesterday (you probably noticed my inactivity) I finally broke down and did it. I sold my Q... I have very mixed emotions right now. I need to find another car pretty soon, because in the mean time im riding my bike to work.. Its not really a big deal because my work is only a mile away.

I already emailed the winged warrior people and they will be taking me off the roster later this week.....

I'm having a tough time buying this. There is no f/s thread in Infiniti Classifieds that I can see and no previous discussion. So, unless someone just offered to ante up a large sum of cash, I think we're being snowed here.

So like Chopp said, I was supposed to be getting a 350Z. I spent the better part of today looking around at different cars... The assistant pro from the golf course last year works as a manager at a nissan dealer and was supposed to get me a stellar deal..... Like stupid good on a Z...

I was offered a HUGE lump sum of money by this guy at my local performance shop. I stopped by to have them look at some ECU related program stuff on their computer on saturday.. we were talking about my car while we were in the shop and this other dude who apparently is loaded (had a QX4 and a caddy STS) and he offered me 10,500 cash.. Yeah, thats what I thought too but it was too good to pass up!! He stopped by again on sunday and we did the transaction...

This would obviously give me a great head start on a down payment toward said Z..... Because of my decent grades this first year of college, my parents were willing to give me some cash... which is why I put the Q up for sale a while ago. Figured people wouldnt buy it from here on NICO.. About 5 grand to be exact for use on a new car..... They have never really liked the Q to begin with, since it seems I had a lot of problems with it (when I was really just tinkering for the sake of tinkering)...

SO i had 15,500 to play aorund with... My homie hooked me up with a deal for a black on black (leather 6mt) 04 Z with 45k for 18.5k plus tax, title, etc... Basically hes giving it to me for what they paid in the trade in..... Which is good, which means that I only have to finace a few grand, which i can easily pay back......

BUT my parents said that they couldnt give me the money... Didnt really say why, but obviously im pretty pissed off right now... I mean, how could they ****ing do that to me!!! I sold one of my all time favorite cars, the car I had dreamed about having since I saw it at that first meet I went to in october of 04.... So now im screwed without a car, I cant get what I want and my vagina is hurting pretty bad......

Wes, I hate you. You could've at least waited til my Q was out of the transmission shop so we could run one time side by side.

However if maintenance costs and the need to have a more practical ride while in school is the reason, I fully understand. I my Q will probably be leaving my hands very shortly. My fast might become my friend instead...

So why did I lie about this? its not because I think Im funny (even though I am) or because I want attention. Its because that people actually make threads about this and expect people to feel sorry for them..... Still not getting it? Try here zerothread?id=176272

Its so inconceivable to me that someone would complain about this... Having a great car and then start whining about mommy and daddy not giving them a huge lump sum of money.....I dont get it, what parent in their right mind would give their kid anything more than a grand to play around with so that some dillweed kid can get a car that hes likely gonna trash anyway.....

For the record......

1. I would never accept more than $500 from my parents for something car or leisure related... Fortunately i will never have to worry about that because it will never happen

2. I did not sell my Q. I probably will never, 10,500 may get it done though, but no one is that stupid...

3. No way id trade my Q for a Z. Yeah, the Z33s are nice but theyre way too mainstream for me... Theyre everywhere, and thats not how I roll. Id take a Z, but id have to have my Q in addition...

So, i say to you members of NICO, please do not post threads which are so terribly bad and inconceivable. Should you post said thread, please do not expect other members to feel sorry for you, and also expect flaming to ensue..... If you are under the age of 18 and still living with your parents, please be glad of what they give you.. My parents were nice (or stupid) enough to help me pay for a second Q45..... after the first one died (was a stupid purchase on my part).
