I have so many fond memories of her. We may had fought at times but made sweet, sweet, love at other times. She was my first love, my first car, my first 240sx. Sad to see her go but I'm glad to see she moved on. Tonight Ill be dreaming in slow motion of the memories I have as they fade from one to another, waving it goodbye in the distance. Goodbye.. my love..

Atleast its still fairly local and in VA. The guys were really cool and collect the cars along with build them (hi, quit lurking and post). I hope to see it again someday as a beast with a new RB'd soul. The trade off was satisfying to see

And all the parts made precious room in my epicly small bedroom. I need a beater for winter so I am checking out a 95 4door Civic (dx I believe), non vtec I know but a great reliable beater for snow since thats all I really need. I found a few B16 swapped civics but I dont wanna pay 3-4 grand, I need to save/use some money for things I need. I looked at it today and needs tires and a new radio with antenna. Other than that its a decent looking car on the outside, besides the bent up rear drivers door. The engine looks great and only 85000 original miles!! Asking price was only $1000 so for the work thats needed Ill offer $800. Great find if I do say so myself. Ill post pics if I buy it.

Sold your first love? Gee, I never thought of selling my first GF. I wonder what I could have gotten for her?

All I can say if make sure you have plenty of pics of your first car. You'll be happy you did 40 yrs from now. :dblthumb:

Selling a 240 shouldn't be something that hits you in the heart, but it is somehow... I hated/loved mine, I sold it to keep fanboys from mobbing me at every 7-11.

Anyway, $2500? :poke Seems like it would be worth more...

Thanks guys.

Actually thats $2900. Seems somewhat fair, somewhat generous for the condition it was in + all parts and extras. Im glad its gone now. Im tired of people asking me if I drift it..

As an update I picked up the Civic for $900. Its a 92 not a 95. Drove it the night of the sale and was good but drove it home and it was pouring smoke out the tail. Definantly not doing that the night before. He said he just engine flushed it but Ill change it again and put some lucas in it.

If we're talking about the first one I banged, she was pretty ugly. At best, I could have traded her for a Daewoo Lanos.

:yesnod :frown:

I miss my Q45. And even after 10 years I still have dreams about having my Coupe DeVille back in the driveway.

...Hmmm...10 years...
