How do you change a brake light.Took all the nuts of the assembly in trunk( I) think.Can't budge light.

It's stuck in place with a very sticky sealant. Let it get very hot in the sun (shouldn't be a problem this time of year), or heat it with a hair dryer or heat gun. You're probably just not using enough force...

Do I pull the white box,or the outside assembly?does it pull straight or to the side?

After some serious tugging,I noticed that I didn't have to remove the whole assembly just pry tab near brown wire.Oh well..
