Yea, so you guys know that 90* angle thing that comes out of the side of the block for the oil feed for the turbo? Well when threading in my oil feed line, I either stripped or crossthreaded this little thing. I can take a picture if need be. Anyway, if somebody has one, or has any ideas on what I can do, please let me know. I'm pretty much screwed w/o this.

Hi Ryan,

I think I know which piece you are refering too, but to be on the safe side, please take a picture and post it, I might be able to help you. I have to dig through the pile of junk that I have, but I remember that I have one.

you can do what im doing. youll need to have a remote oil filter (and cooler if possible)

snake the turbo oil feed around the back of the block (needs almost exactly 3 extra feet of line) then T into the oil return from the filter (im doing it to get the coldest, cleanest oil possible to the turbo, before it enters the block)

I was once in the EXACT same boat as you. I snapped it off when I was trying to clean it out. After researching all my options, the most practical thing for me to do was purchase a titanium tipped drill bit, drill out the remaining threads and that crap left in there by the old elbow. The block at that point is about 1/2 to 3/4" deep so don't be afraid of drilling too deep, but still be careful! Then I tapped it to 10mm and I bought a turbo line kit from TakaMotorSports. After threading the new line into the block, it was still leaking a bit..... I forgot to use teflon tape, lol... Once I used it, I got some drippage still but maybe 4 drops per day. I used JB weld to fill the hole around the turbo line so it WOULD NOT leak anymore at all.

It worked great and it looks good too with my new lines but it did end up costing me about $200.

I looked into purchasing elbow's and contacted many hydraulic places around here but nobody made anything that small.

Sorry for the late reply guys, my motherboard took a swan dive into an empty pool on my last night, so I've got to use the work computer.

Dee, I'm gonna get that manifold back out to you today/tomorrow. How about I just add however much extra you want for the fitting and shipping to the check I'm gonna put in there already, and then you can send it out to me. I'll actually give you a call here in a second. Otherwise, shoot me an email.

Thanks Dee!
