I had my winter tires put on tonight...sad day as I love my summers (19" wheels, Potenza tires). The winters just don't handle as nicely (17" wheels, Dunlop D3s).Bah. AND I had to put in my winter mats and take out my lovely summer carpet mats.DOUBLE BAH.

On a positive note, my dealership had 2 GT-Rs in!One red, one silver.AWESOME CARS.The red was brand spanking new, and the silver already had 10 thousand kilometers on it and was getting brake work done as it had been to the track.

That dealership has sold 9, count them, 9, GT-Rs already!

brake job can't cost that much. Even if they are the best pads in the world you wouldn't pay anywhere close to that much!

Complete brake fluid flush as well??

I'm not sure what was being done specifically, but I do know that brake work is EXPENSIVE on the GT-R.

Cant be that expensive. They aren't even ceramic, though if they were ceramic they wouldn't need replacing. But I guess if your getting super car performance you are going to pay super car maintenance right? Still $6000 is a bit much.

How much were they selling the 2 GT-R's for? wondering what type of mark up they are getting over sticker.

Yeah I've seen a silver around a few times and there is a white one at the dealer. You can lease one for 1500.

I would but don't like white. LOL Not true love it in white.

Those massive brakes, the leather all over the place, plus I had my father with me and had to keep telling him not to touch the car! (he's like a kid).

My dad saw a GTR with me at our Nissan Dealer... I was looking at 350z's

and he was like "I wonder what sales guy drives that exotic car... I wonder what it is even... Kinda Ugly... But I bet it is expensive"

I was like "You are a retard! That is a Nissan GTR.. Like the best sports car ever! It can lap the Ring in 7min 42 sec!"

he goes "how much"

I said "over 80k"

He goes "$hit for that I will put on rocket powered roller blades a lap the ring myself!"

Im like "OK keep dreaming"

if you have the money to buy it, why not drive it? The track is worst punishment that driving around town?

i understand car collections... but some cars are ment to be driven... i wouldnt pay 70k+ for a car and not drive it... waste of money IMO...

basicly if im not going to drive it i wouldn't buy it.

some cars become classics and the less than are driven the more they are worth, all original parts low mileage = big $$$$$ down the road.Think of it as an investment
