I haven't been around here in a while, but just wanted to let you guys know the car is for sale. I'd rather let one of you sadists (I mean that in a good way) take the Q off my hands and keep it going.

It's been a learning experience and it's been kinda fun, annoying at times and pretty damn expensive. I can cross 'Japanese V8 Luxury Sedan' off my list now. Thanks for all the help over the years, you guys are a wealth of information and most of you seem at least slightly off kilter (again, in a good way).

I'm going to drive my beat-to-death-but-not-dead-yet Impreza until I feel confident enough in my employment situation to throw some money down on a BRZ.

BRZ if a fun little car. Drop back in when you get one. Unfortunately with the recent appreciation of the Yen, all Japanese parts are expensive. Unfortunately it is about a wash between parts for either now. The big difference is the Nissan can be maintained without replacing whole systems at once.

A BRZ is a fun little car but wait a year. Or wait until they put the 3.6 flathead into one of these. I read the article that they are killing the s16... There is a larger market for the BRZ. Come up to western MA. We have 3 on the lot! They go quick

I'm going to try to wait and see if they make any changes to the '14 model year. The H6 would be too long and heavy for the BRZ, I think it would mess up the handling dynamics they were going for.

Have you driven one? It is a great car. With surprisingly little competition. The car is not as perfectly balanced as you think. It is more a 60-40 than a 50-50 balance. "Under steering" at best describes what makes up for that. The turbo/or "free flow" intake system the "BRZ STi" is getting it would only yield MAYBE +40hp (240hp) with this stock turbo or intake. Which would be noticeably different but still only at 240 compared to 265 & 305 wih the WRX & WRX STi. Even with this said turbo. It would push prices into the low to mid 30's. Definitely not worth it. But with that said, the BRZ is everything what Nissan should have done the 240sx within the past 15 years. Now with the 2014 they are dropping the Toyota fuel injection for their own as well as branching off from the scion version. Also, rumors say we might be seeing a diesel version here in the states within 2 years!

Also, as maxnix stated about the crazy Yen situation, Japan will be cutting costs, corners, and outsourcing cheaper parts to keep the MSRP as low as possible. Quality with Japanese vehicles is certainly going to drop
