WAY too much, sexy as it may be.Logan76 wrote:http://www.impactguns.com/store/706397138011.html
It screams your name. Personally when I get my carry permit im going to carry a walther ppks, just my personal favorite.
H&Ks are overly expensive for what they are (though they're pretty sweet). SIGs are expensive but even sweeter.Crazyirish wrote:I like the h&k p2000sk and the p7, as well as the sig 239. You talking about just an around the town gun?
The Sigma? You're making a very bad joke.Logan76 wrote:Ever consider an S&W? like a Sigma? theyre priced pretty competively. or a Taurus millenium pro? what caliber do you want?
Was quite unimpressed with the P99. Capacity for size is poor, and the thing is VERY jumpy. Plus, they're imported by S&W and no way in hell I'm sending them money. It's too big, anyway. The XD subcompact is as large as I'm looking for.Logan76 wrote:Cant forget the Walther P99, its also a good gun, I love Walther's.
Enjoy your ban!dblanehopr wrote:HK USP tactical

hows about those?
I'd buy the P-3AT if I was looking for a .380 (and still might, seeing as they're TINY!). I've heard good things about the Bersa, too.Tulsa_S-13 wrote:I'm guessing you're wanting something with a little more punch than a .380 eh? Because if not I'd suggest the Bersa Thunder, really awesome CC for the money.
I'd probably be torn between the Glock 26 subcompact or the CZ Rami. You need to go to a retailer that rents out.
You have no idea. I've been pretty nice about what I think of the PPK/S and the P99 because you've been personable with your advice, and I appreciate it and don't want to dog on your choices.Logan76 wrote:I was surprised you didnt like the P99 charlieo.
Hell you wont hurt my feelings lol, I like you because you usually tell people how it is lolcharlieo wrote:

HOW ABOUT TWO DESERT EAGLES!!?!bobotech wrote:Get a Desert Eagle.
LOL
PPS is everything that's bad about the P99, but worse. Also S&W imports them, soooo...ScorchedNX2K wrote:How about the PPS (brand new). Excellent size, 9mm (soon to be .40), less than an inch thick, even lighter than the PPK/S, and can be had for under 600. It is built a LOT better than most compacts on the market.
The Bersa 9mm UC is within my size requirements... Good call!cmfireman wrote:Bersa Thunder 9mm?
Under $350 new, 17+1 capacity, lifetime warranty, and as far as I know a fairly reliable gun.
I'm going to look at a Bersa Thunder .380 sometime this week for CC. I'm having a hard time finding anything but good reviews on the web.
I know 9mm beats .380 hands down, but I have a P89 and I want something I can conceal in summer clothes.

About once a month.Logan76 wrote:Thanks man, how often do you shoot? I shoot alot in the summer since I have my own 120 yard range (obviously I dont shoot from that far away with a pistol).
You were doing pretty well till this part.BusyBadger wrote: I know you're looking to keep costs down, but if its a personal defense / carry piece I don't think money should be your highest priority.
And yet you echoed the sentiment when you started the thread....charlieo wrote: You were doing pretty well till this part.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of times that buyers pay for a name, but I also know that quality usually doesn't come cheap. Forget Jennings, you should buy a cheap S&W. I won't buy from them for the same reason you won't. Which makes me so torn about purchasing a Walther.charlieo wrote: I like it, for the most part. It is, however, built to a price point and it shows.
I live in a "Stand Your Ground" state, as does Charlieo, consequently I don't concern myself too much about the potential after-action fallout. You however, live in a state that doesn't even have a Castle Law on the books, so I can see where you're coming from. So, sorry but, I don't want it to be a cheap weapon. But never mistake inexpensive for cheap, they are vastly different. If it comes down to it I'd rather be without a weapon for a while than my life permanently.ScorchedNX2K wrote: You actually WANT it to be a cheap weapon because when you shoot someone with it, it WILL be confiscated and you probably won't see it for quite some time. But whatever makes you feel comfortable...
