Does anyone know where i can get a pair? The 1 deal i did see was rediculous. I don't even know if i could have called that a deal..for the same price i could have gotten high dollar bodykit style sideskirts. Just trying my luck here, i've already tried posting a 'WTB' in the marketplace forum.

zenkis or koukis

arent koukis same as US? you can get those in junkyards but i think youre gonna have to pay anywhere from 250-400 for the other ones

theres all that cool rear valence stuff too. thats expensive but looks nice

im willing to sell.I think im missing one or two endcaps, and i have like 10% of those little clips left. they break easily when you take of the skirts. i'll look at them and give u a few pics tomorow. they are black by the way

yikes....i don't know if i can justify spending $200 PLUS shipping for a pair of badly scratched up skirts with missing end caps and no way to properly mount them.

are the little clips the same kind that fasten the interior panels? how would you recommend i mount them securely if i do buy them..? i still want them though.

i think side skirts can change the whole appearance of a car. it makes the round hotdog looking s14 look aggressive.

very worth it in my opinion.

the price can be lowered. the clips, yea you'll need clips to make it tight to the body, maybe a autoparts store sells similar ones, there are screws that go on from the bottom. i have the screws, and i should have the end caps somewhere, becuase i had them when i took the skirts off. i'll look around at my buddies house tomorow and get back to you.

Uncle Ben and I put a set of Kouki skirts on his zenki (zenki's didnt come out with sk here) and it made it look AWSOME.. changed the whole look of the car... To attach them you use the holes in the sideskirts on the underside and use self taping screws. We used double sided tape on the top part and it made a seemless merge to the body. They look like they came factory equiped on the car... Mine are factory CUZ I GOT A KOUKI lol but in my opion factory parts are the way to go.

i think i saw those pics of you and him attatching them in the member rides section. my car looks similar to his to, emerald green...black wheels, looks nice. do you remember what kind of tape you used? i wonder what the best quality double sided tape to use would be. i don't want them to fall off and look like some sort of pimp my ride car..lol

I agree, the factory kouki side skirts integrate very nice. The JDM zenki sides and most aftermarket ones look like crap IMO, they form such a nasty seam on the body in front and behind the door. There must be something like a rear valance that flows well with them to complete the look..it looks kinda odd to have a lip and side skirts, then a high rear.

the jdm aero rear bumper and valences looks pretty good with it. i actually pickedup some 97-98 skirts today and on the way home saw a car from freshalloy. a 97-98 240 with aero front and rear bumpers, looked soooo nice

you just picked some up..? jeez, i looked forever and just now got this deal going with spec-r.i saw another set of skirts for sale on fresh alloy and was going to mention them to you but i guess there's no need now.

i think the only way i would like aftermarket skirts would be to use a little bondo or something to smooth and blend out that kind of ledge they leave along the sides.
