I was turning right onto a local highway...

I punched it in first and it churped really nicely all the way through first... (i didn't pop the clutch or anything)

I shifted HARD into second like i do at the strip and the car got really squirley and less than a second after i had poped the clurch in second POP a crack came from the drivers side of the windshield about half way up. It's almost 6 inches long.

I'm guessing that i just flexed the chassis too mutch and the glass was already weak right there...

Oah Well

HAHA...sorry dude, but that was a bit hilarious. Unfortunate that it happened though.

It's weird how you have a coupe too and that happened to you. I don't think anyone has experieced anything similar like that. I guess you should invest in strut bars.

Will strut tower bar/brace really help? I was wanting to buy one off ebay (the cheap one like $24 including shipping).

That's what I did. I got a cheap set of strut bars and they work great. Mine are Pilot Motorsports, but I'd be willing to put them up against the more expensive ones. The expensive ones are just lighter anyways. Except the ones that attach tot he firewall (at least I would think so).

Ok, I'll order that strut bar. It's the one Procarparts sells. Hope it's good.

You won't be dissapointed. One of the first mods anyone should do IMHO.

I don't buy anything on ebay where the shipping is more than the product :-)
