Hello all of you guys in the CA community. First I like to thank Knightrider for ignoring thos that said SR20 flywheel wont fit on CA18. Heres the story about a week before I put the CA in to my car I got a Fidanza Flywheel with Spec clutch for an SR20 cause I saw a really old post that said the SR20 flywheel would fit then when I was going to change out the Clutch someone again asked that question and the answers were negative so I didnt even try it. A month ago Knightrider put on an wolf tech. SR flywheel on to his CA.

Yesterday I put on a Fidanza Flywheel with Spec Stage 2 clutch. Only problem is the rebuilt starter I got from the auto shop didnt work, today I am going to exchange it for another one.

I just wanted everybody to know that Fidanza will also work with the grinding the 2 bumps that knightrider said. One more think I dont think was mentioned was if you have the stock engine brace you will need to take the engine brace off on the intake mani to engine mount to fit the longer starter. I took some pictures but with my camera phone so quilty is not that good but good enought to see I`ll try to post the up asap.

ryan, your whoring skills are insane. i love every minute of it.

i also love how more and more manufacturers are making parts for our engine. soon we may have parts availability rivalling the sr! man, that would be the day. i cant wait to see what new stuff is out by the time i have more money. i would love to replace that horrible intake manifold.

on a side note, apparently someone has decided that i look stock and run 8's. how money is that?!?!! whats really sad is that ryan didnt register much earlier than i did, and he has like, 3 times the posts i have.

some of the conections of the local CA group # of us have kinda forced some new parts out there like the fly wheel. Also cometic is now making a copper and a Kevlar Head gasket for the CA even though its not listed on thier site.

i didnt get the part number i was swamped at work. will try again tomorrow

also here is Clutch masters standard fly wheel so yes replaceable surface

you need the starter from a ca20 from a S12 and it needs to be a hoodless starter, the hitachi part number is floating around somewhere.
