Why is it that we, the CA18DE/DET forum, have been bumped down the list in the "Nissan Engines" forum?

Our alphabetical superiority has not been challenged, so why the bump down?

Moderators, please correct this injustice immediately.

Also taking the opportunity to stretch the legs on this new avatar. Fierce, isn't it? Fear this s*** man.

not bashing im just looking at this in a tech point of view. most likely because more traffic goes to other places.

I realize we don't get near as much traffic, but that isn't the point! "CA" is still alphabetically superior to "KA" or "SR!"

I'd like to see us at the top again. With my post count and all, I'm sure I'll be moving mountains and the admins will be chomping at the bit to re-order this section.

Honestly, we've got SOO much going on right now, and I know for a fact that everything is going to get re-structured again, that I would let it go for now.

BTW, I like the new avatar Tim; cute kitty > blue GTR

I lost the GT-R avatar when the forum switched, and there is no getting it back. So sad!

I will work on creating a kitten + GT-R avatar. Such a monumental achievement will not come quickly though. Lots of R&D involved.

I like that we are down the list. The CA is the underdog, why shouldn't the the forum be?
We are a closer-knit bunch of knuckleheads than those goofs anyway.
Who cares where we are in the ranking, we roll for ourselves, not for the approval of others.

can you really call the CA the "underdog" with the QR being an engine selection as well? ;)

Ps I happen to love this place compared to the VQ..... if that counts for anything :gotme .

Yeah, Im kinda reluctant to call the CA an underdog. Sure its smaller, but its like a swiss watch compared to the buzzy garbage that is my 98 DOHC KA.

QR = Failure. Why even try?

Whats that forum filled with, crushed dreams?

No matter where they place the CA on any forum, it is always on top in my heart. Whereas the others have had their failures, this engine has been my choice for abusing fun :yesnod

I second that "awwww."

People also just don't know what they are missing. Its one of the smoothest 4cyl engines I have come across, I can tell you that. I miss it!!

Haha,

I fully plan on rebuilding it this summer at some point (first must acquire $$).

You should harass me daily, then it will get done sooner. I only need a set of dank forged pistons and some bearings (and requisite machine work), but I have had no time as I have been at school. Gotta get that degree so I can land a non-chump job!
