I would never get over the fron end. It's a very ugly car, so yeah, great sleeper =p

I agree enzo.. the 323 is a much "sleepier" platform...but I just like the sexiness of the isuzu.

Or it may be the 15.5 1/4 mile on stock boost it runs? Just imagine the 400 hp beast on the 1st pic?

That would be cool to build up. 323s are siiiick. My friend Paul has a turbo'd 323. I think it runs like mid, high 12s in the quarter and looks like A55 doing it.;)

Doesn't Isuzu only make trucks now? Or is that only in the US?

Take a look at this webiste. I saw it a few years back. This is a guy that has too much time on his hands.

http://www.isuzuperformance.co....html

The main page is obviously http://www.isuzuperformance.com , but the comparison he did on EVERY sports car vs. the impulse is a trip. I wrote him and told him that he thought too highly of his car. The dude sends and e-mail back with a letter from his lawyer saying that he would sue if I ever wrote him again! I love it. You guys should write him too.

Here is his quote on the '92 240sx vs the impulse -

1992 Nissan 240 SX SECritique: "The 240 SX SE showed so much promise as the last remaining affordable rear-wheel drive sporty car, but no one has ever been able to rationally explain why a vehicle with so much power and displacement is SO SLOW. Outperformed in every category by the JR Turbo, the 240 SX SE is a real disappointment."

I know that given the right amount of money an impulse can be fast, but so can any car. I have had two friends that got impulses and they have been nothing but trouble.

I used to have an Impulse!! it was black.. Very awesome car.. Mine was a bit beat.. VERY hard to find parts for and very hard to work on.. it had a bit of rust and then I blew the motor.. It now resides in the junkyard. Mine ran a 15.7 somethin.. Had alot of pickup and handled VERY nice.. I still got the little green "suspension by Lotus" emblems hehe..

Pretty cool. I had a 86 Isuzu I-Mark it was one bad little car I drove it every where and beat the crap out of it. Nick named the TANK.
