I pod aux cable but want to run music off phone

I have a 2009 M35, and in the middle armrest section is an Aux cable for an Ipod. I am interested in playing music off my phone wireless, maybe Pandora or something like that. I first need to figure out what cable to buy. Will a female Ipod end connection to a 3.5mm plug work so that I can plug in my phone? Thx!

The ipod connection INSIDE the center console is for ipod and requires a cable from infiniti not sure if you can run your phone through that! If you have the AV connections in the REAR of the center console you need to get ipod to AV connections for that to work. If you get the right connection you can play you tube videos also. Check apple store, it's a very specific connection for the AV not the center console.
