GTR Intercooler

Don't mind the bones next to it... My dog leaves them all over the place...It's a calsonic stamp, was told that's the manufacture for Nissans intercooler?

I just love that it's black straight from the factory

Good deal. What's kind of project is it going in?

Oh, check your radiator, it prolly has "Calsonic" stamped on it, too.

34's are bigger, and I don't think they are black.

Neat looking intercooler but why did you take pics though several layers of Saran Wrap?

Or did you rub Vaseline all over the lens?

:-)

I got a piping kit for $160, but I had to cut and put it together myself. I'd expect it to run you at least double that if they're cutting/fitting/installing it.

best way to make fmic piping is to buy some mnadrel bends and cut it all up mark it and if u dont have a welder take it to a shop and ge tthem to weld it, it is right cheap!

Haha, I hadn't even realized he'd asked me a question at the end.

Putting the piping together was pie on my car, but then again, the routing was rather simple.

We got some extra silicon couplers because it took more than came with my kit. Other than that, it was hacksaw+file+patience. It came out really well. Now if only my fuel issues had been so simple . At some point I may have a few pieces welded for simplicity's sake, but meh.

$250 for materials and labor is nice... I did my whole turbo project on quite a tight budget, and I almost made it, then the oil pan took a dump. Oh well. Debt HOORAY!

Not as if he needs that info now probably, but oh well, it's there.
