I have a spreadsheet that calculates out the door price and some monthly payments based on interest rates and other variables. I can email to you.
YOU NEED TO KNOW
Negotiated price of car (after they have deducted 'dealer cash')
Trade In Allowance (if any)
Trade Payoff amount (if any)
Tag Cost (transfer or new)
Doc Fee
Down payment
Rebate Amount (don't think Infiniti does Rebates ever)
Tax Rate
If you don't know ALL of these values, you NEED to find out!!!
Seems like GA has a 7 percent tax rate??
OK, GUESSING that you got the
Cars Direct Target price for you 2010X with prem & Nav (which is usually a little higher than what you should negotiate.)
And, assuming 55 for tag, 589 doc fee, and 7 percent tax with no trade and no downpayment,
I have you at $40,592.45 out the door.
BUT, you should be able to do better than Cars Direct!!
When I was looking several months ago, there was $2K dealer cash available...And, I was looking at getting it at invoice. So, with all of the other guestimates, it would be $38773.45 out the door.
And, you got 2.9 % for how many months??
If you want to calculate yourself, then find an auto calculator
http://www.kbb.com/car-loans-and-auto-i ... calculator& (click the
What Will My Monthly Payment Be? tab)
put in terms 2.9 % for 60 months financing $1,000....this gives you monthly payments per $1k... $17.92
.THEN, divide your $39K amount by 1000 and multiply by the monthly payment for $1k
$39 x $17.92 = $698.88 per month
2.9 @ 72 months for 1000 would be $15.15
$39 x $15.15 = $590.85 per month
SO, if you know what RATES & MONTHS you qualify for, you can get the costs per $1,000 like above (17.92 and 15.15) and carry those figures into the dealership with you. Then, all you need is the out the door price divide it by 1000 and multiply by that figure.
They will let you borrow a calculator.
And, YES, you ZERO out all fields below except for the rate, 1000, and months.
