Black of course

before (ew)

after (tires a bit dirty from sitting in shop for a few hours)

I had quite a great time today. Met up with two friends that work at ford dealership, used their tools and hoist and we did an oil change (400km early but im moving out to waterloo next week to start my internship at Blackberry woohoo) changed fuel filter, installed my wheel locks, and painted the pesky rusty drums

My buddies didnt even notice the rust and said I am probably the only person that notices, but after rolling out the shop with painted drums...yeah, icing on the cake.

I didnt do the greatest job, was pressed for time. It was more of a quick fix during the oil change/fuel filter. Wire brushed most of the rust off, Used a good coat of primer, dry for 15 mins, painted a good 3-4 coats in a 1 hour period...yeahhh excessive, well see how it holds up lol

Oil change, used castrol gtx high mileage (love it), and tried a fram high mileage filter. I got 75k-ish miles...(123,000 kms), all the high mileage products say 120k kms+ so why not.

In other news...my buddy is selling his 1992 acura vigor GS for...$4000 with 128k kms. Its a gorgeous car, i want it but no space and...well id rather get a 240sx lol

Another friend just aquired a 96 camaro v6 with t-tops.....after the oil change we started it up and NOTHING. rolled it out, push started it, engine started then stalled instantly....turned out to be a loose fuse!!!

then my other buddy has a 06 honda civic thats already rusting

and my mechanic/buddy had his rear right wheel/drum fly off while driving....hilarious. its his tripod-v-dub

thats my day hahaha

i used straight up spray on primer, then used canadian tires "motomaster" "automotive" spray paint. I could have gone with something more durable but i was in a rush and didnt have time to go buy some, just took what i had in my garage. Should hold up pretty well this year, next year ill do it again if need be
