Would you like to post the dealer invoice prices, so we don't have to wait for Edmunds or guesstimate them ourselves?

Don't know anything about leases, but Edmunds.com now has dealer invoice prices posted for Rogue models and option packages.

We bought our Rogue yesterday for about $800 under MSRP. The price quotes among six dealers ranged between MSRP+$2000 and MSRP-$1062. I think it will largely depend on how many dealers are in your area, how many vehicles are available, attitude of dealers, and if any are high-volume dealers.

We've just signed our contract on a new Rogue here in DC - waiting for it to come in. To be helpful with others in negotiating a fair purchase price, we got (you can build it out on the Nissanusa.com site and check the MSRP):

2008 AWD SLAWD Premium PkgLeather PkgMoonroof PkgSplash GuardsRoof Rail CrossbarsRear Bumper Protector

The dealer MSRP including the $745 dest fee was 27830+tax, tags, and dealer fee. The dealer tried to tack just shy of $1000 onto this for an asking price.

The actual dealer invoice including the $745 was about $25,500. (Tax, tags and dealer fee is all on top of this for them to not actually lose money.)

I hope the above info is helpful for anyone else looking to buy a Rogue.

It may also depend on type of Rogue (S FWD, SL FWD, SL AWD, w/ or w/o prem pkg, leather pkg, etc.)

Like you mentioned, volume.

Would you say a fair price for the consumer could be $26,000 plus TT&L for the SL with all the gadgets.

I'd check out the first thread on fair deals and dealerships, then negotiate your own fair deal... it's a pretty good write-up. I just wanted to provide the info I know to help you make an informed decision. Good luck!
