Can i just use my battery from my KA with my CA? or does it require a different type of battery? This may seem like a dumb question, and it probably is, but i never thought about it before.

yep should work OK unless you are doing front mount in which case it is likely you will need to swap a smaller battery in.

or get one of those small dry cell batteries for bikes etc and locate it anywhere you want, bolted to the firewall, under the passenger seat, wherever you need the weight,

I don't know if it is true for all harnesses, but my CA lower harness with the positive battery clamp had a smaller clamp than the US battery post.

I had to cut off the connector and put a new one on. Just be on the lookout for that.

Sorry if it doesn't make too much sense..... pain killers are owning me now.

yea the japanese battery's have smaller posts....... On my 240 I kept the same battery and just slid it over a little when doing my FMIC piping. works fine....but like the others said if you wanna move it, its purely your own opinion....as well as good weight distribution.
