get what u pay for....a good paint job is usually $4000 give or take.

Paint doesn't dry in the rain. Moisture + wet paint is no good. Also, he might not have an oven and just lets cars sit in the sun...which again, brings me to my previous point.

nor a dust free enviornement....which would lead to particles/dust in the paint.

That too, but if he clay bars or wetsands when he's done, much of that could be eliminated.

Yes but, you should not paint a car outdoors, so if he is painting it indoors, what would the fact that it was raining matter?

By the way it hasnt been raining since like 10am. It's 3pm now.

basicly its your car and your the one that has to figure out what your going to do. If your unhappy then pull your car. 1300 for a good paint job isn't bad. I personally can have them done for about 700 but i have to let the guy have my car for about 2 weeks. But anyways, good luck on this and let us know what happens

Who ever said anything about painting outdoors? I'm talking about moisture in the air and the car drying.
